A Pedigree Book will be included with each catalog sold at this year’s National Specialty. The Book contains four separate sections:
1) The Pedigree Section: For breeders and owners who wish to honor the dogs of his or her kennel. A valuable resource for learning and chronicling the ancestry of our breed. All dogs will appear in alphabetical order.
2) The Performance Section: For those who wish to honor the accomplishments of his or her dogs in performance venues. All dogs will appear in alphabetical order.
3) The Memorial Section: For those who wish to honor the life of his or her dog. All dogs will appear in alphabetical order.
4) Open Advertising: Any advertisement (brags/litter announcements/business/etc) with no set formatting style. Create your own or design services are available (Please contact Cindy Hill to coordinate). Inside front cover, inside back cover, and back cover placements available.

Name of breeder(s)
Name of owner(s)
Email address
Dog’s sire and dam
Short bio (200 words or less) of dog’s life
**On all Pedigree, Performance and Memorial sections, NO other information will be permitted.
OPEN ADVERTISING
Black and white ad is 8½” x 11”. It may include any information such as special wins, upcoming litters, business advertisement, etc. Please add 1/8” margin for any ads that go to the page edge (finished document size 8 5/8” x 11 1/8”).
There are three cover spots available on a first come, first served basis: (1) Black and white inside front cover, (1) Black and white inside back cover and (1) Color back cover. Please contact Cindy Hill to reserve a cover option.
All open ads are to be submitted as PRINT-READY and will be published exactly as received. No editing or changes will be made. Please add 1/8” margin for any ads that go to the page edge (finished document size 8 5/8” x 11 1/8”).
If you need your Cover or Open Ad created for you, design services are available. Please contact Cindy Hill to coordinate.
Submission Guidelines
For dog information in the Pedigree, Performance and Memorial sections, please use the forms provided on the website.
Please submit print-ready Open Ads and Cover Ads in a PDF, PNG, JPG file format.
A minimum of one proof will be provided via email for each ad purchased with exception to open advertising that is submitted as print-ready.
Full color photos may be submitted in digital format (300 dpi JPEG or PNG) or they may be sent by mail. Un-cropped, color photos are preferred. Photos for Pedigree, Performance and Memorial sections will be cropped to show only the dog. Please let us do the cropping.
We are not responsible for the quality of your photo if these guidelines are not followed.
All photos, regardless, must be received by AUGUST 1, 2022 and all mailed photos will be returned by mail. If you are mailing a photo there is an additional fee of $5.00 to return your photo by mail.
